The origins of Sudoku can be traced back to the 18th century, and the brilliant mind of Swiss mathematician Leonard Euler.
He introduced the concept of a Latin square, where objects are arranged in a grid
without repetition in any row or column.
These Latin squares are considered the intellectual ancestors of Sudoku.
