Hidden single number technique
Learn how to combine the Notes Mode when there is only one possible solution to the cell.
In this video we are going to show you how to use the Hidden Single technique combined with the Notes Mode.
If you look at the middle block, bottom middle field, you can see that it contains numbers 1, 4, 7, and 9. Now, if we take a look at the entire middle block, we can see that the number 4 is written only in the middle bottom field. This means that the only possible place for the number 4 is the bottom middle field.
But be careful, in order to take full advantage of this technique, you need to make sure you used the Notes Mode correctly.
