Hidden triple numbers technique
This technique is similar to the hidden single number, but it requires a bit more concentration and use of the Notes Mode.
In this video we are going to show you how to use the Hidden Triples technique in combination with the Notes Mode.
The Hidden Triple technique is very similar to the Hidden Single Number technique. You can take advantage of it if you find three cells within the same row, column or block that contain the same three Notes.
See the middle block -> there are three cells within this block that share Notes 2, 3, and 4. This means that these three numbers must be used in one of these three cells each. Which then means that any other numbers can’t be in these cells. We can eliminate numbers 1 and 9 in this case.
The same logic will apply with the Hidden Pairs technique.
